Week 22: Safe Spaces, Regular Rhythms

QUESTION
Do your friendships have enough rhythm and trust to be real and deep?

STORY
I suggested to several men leader guys who didn’t even know each other to huddle by Zoom each week. Once I shared the 3 questions we’d discuss each week, no one had to lead or prepare. We agreed to be confidential and consistent. In only a few months, that rhythm created safety & trust. These guys are now Level 5 friends as a huddle AND individually!

EXAMINE SELF
Do I have a consistent space where I feel safe to open up, be real, and grow?

SCRIPTURE
“Let us not give up meeting together… but encourage one another.” — Hebrews 10:25

QUOTE
“A safe space is built with time, trust, and truth.” – Jeff Kemp

TIP
Make sure your huddle is on the calendar—and protect it. Frequency builds trust.

PRAY, CONFESS & REPENT
Father, I need your help to stay consistent and courageous. Help me avoid excuses and never isolate. Help me build trust through steady presence.

COACHING
Predictable rhythms aren’t boring; they’re soil to grow trust. Stop chasing novelty. Start scheduling consistency.

ACTION STEP
Protect your huddle time. Stay consistent. If it needs to improve or adapt, talk it through with your core friends.

COMMITMENT
I will protect our regular huddle time to grow trust and depth.

HABIT
Set a recurring reminder to huddle around the questions and confirm the next huddle time.

TALK & PRAY WITH FRIENDS
Talk with a friend and ask, “What helps you feel safe enough to be authentic and open as a friend?”
